Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a post on social networks, states that the news about the increase in the price of electricity from November 1 is a fraud spread by the opposition.

According to Rama, the price of electricity will be protected by the Government as it is being protected. However, the prime minister does not state whether he is talking about the price of electricity in general, or only for the band above 800 kw per month.

"The Ruble opposition and its media are telling Albanians today that the Government has announced the increase in energy prices on November 1! A doubly fake news: We have been saying for 14 months that the price will be protected as it is being protected and we have never declared something like this! Why do they do it?", writes Rama on Twitter.
