Comedian Julian Deda, who has expressed his desire to run in the PD primaries for the municipality of Tirana, has reacted to the names that have entered the race so far.

He emphasizes that until today anyone who has run for Tirana, both left and right, has seen it as a springboard to aim for the party leader and then become prime minister.

"What does Tirana need, for a careerist politician or for a normal person, outside of politics, who just comes to work? You know this, but I know for sure that until today, Tirana has always been tricked and exploited.

Anyone who has run for Tirana, both left and right, has seen it as a springboard to target the head of the party they represent and to become prime minister in the future, that's the only reason political figures love the capital. So, no politician sees Tirana as a place of work, but as a cow to be milked, to be used in the interest of his own political career.
