The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, in a statement to the media before the start of the National Convention of this party, said that it will start with statutory changes, including the referendum, which will be defined in the statute.

Asked about the fact that he was the only candidate for PL head, Meta said he sees it as an indication of the members' confidence in his leadership.

"For 100 days, it has been announced that there will be elections for party leader and structures, I thank the organizing committee that completed the mission. Today, everyone will vote in secret.
