Former president Alfred Moisiu declares that he supported "Open Balkan". He confessed that even during the time when he was head of state, he undertook informal meetings with counterparts in the Balkans.

Moisiu said that until the time came for the countries to integrate into the European Union, the issue of free movement should be resolved between them.

"We didn't give it a name at that time, but the problem is here, when these things are done, some norms must be maintained because someone can misuse it," said the former president in an interview for Euronews Albania.

According to Moisiu, this is an initiative that is approaching and, like the Berlin Process, which initially had many voices against it, it will be unified and supported in the end by all.

Moisiu also showed that during the meeting with Hashim Thaçi in The Hague, the latter was worried about the tarnishing of the Kosovo war.

"We talked with Thaci about the state of health and morale and how things are going. They are determined people for what they wanted to achieve and achieved it. Their concern is why the Kosovo war should be tarnished" , said Moisiu.

The former president said that he visited Thaci in The Hague to show the world that the Kosovo war was just, it cannot be called a terrorist war.

"I was in The Hague on September 19, there were 3 former presidents of Albania, Mejdani, Topi and former prime minister Majko. On their side was Pacolli. We went there to greet them and encourage them. The reason why we went there was to show him that the Kosovo war was just, it cannot be called a terrorist war. If you look at the president. Thaçi was in office, resigned and was arrested. He made a sacrifice, he did it to protect the justice and war of Kosovo", he said further.
