Today the ' Energy Regulatory Body' announced that in November and December, the price of 42 lek per kilowatt above the 800 kilowatt band will be applied.

But Prime Minister Edi Rama overturned the decision of ERE , saying that the government has not yet decided the new electricity band for 800 kwh. Rama made it clear that ERE decides the price, but the government decides the application. He said that the new power strip has not been installed yet, as there has been rain.

" We are the only ones who have neither increased the price for families and small businesses, nor have I put any bandages on it yet. The truth is that we have protected the price. ERE sets the price, we decide whether to apply it to the citizens. We will pay the difference ," said Rama.
