SP candidate 'electoral concert' on the eve of the elections in Kukës!

The Socialist Party held an electoral concert on Wednesday at dinner in Kukës despite the prohibition of such organizations by the Electoral Code and after this party and its candidate for mayor had informed the CEC that they were not organizers.

The music concert with the participation of famous singers such as Anxhela Peristeri and Valbona Mema was announced by the candidate Albert Halilaj through his official page on Facebook, where he invited the citizens "to the closing electoral meeting" accompanied by the poster of the concert.

On the poster with the photos of the singers, it was written that the concert was in support of the candidate Halilaj.

He later deleted the post shortly before the meeting called by the State Commissioner for Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi , to consider a request from the " Civic Center " organization to cancel the concert.

Drejtori Ekzekutiv i organizatës “Qendresa Qytetare”, Rigels Xhemollari, i tha BIRN se kjo organizatë ka depozituar një kallëzim të enjten në KQZ, ku kërkon marrjen e masave administrative ndaj kandidatit dhe subjektit zgjedhor për shkelje të dispozitave të Kodit Zgjedhor.

“Tubimet ishin në dy pjesë të ndryshme të sheshit, sapo mbaruan fjalimet, nisi muzika”- tha Xhemollari.

Ky aktivitet, sipas tij, vjen në kundërshtim me pikën 9, të nenit 78, të Kodit Zgjedhor që përcakton të drejtat dhe detyrimet e subjekteve zgjedhore gjatë fushatës, sikundërse rezulton edhe nga posteri që është shpërndarë në rrjetet sociale nga vetë kandidati për Kryetar Bashkie.

“Nëse gjatë procesit hetimor del se pagesat e këngëtarëve janë bërë nga bashkia apo nga një i tretë, do të kërkohet dhe transparenca financiare e këtij aktiviteti”- shtoi Xhemollari.

Kodi Zgjedhor është i qartë në këtë drejtim duke ndaluar në mënyrë kategorike koncertet e organizuara nga dhe/ose për subjektet zgjedhore, pavarësisht burimit të financimit.
