The former adviser of former president Ilir Metaj, Shemsi Prençi wants to be the DP candidate for the Municipality of Kamza for the local elections held on May 14 of the coming year.

Through a post on social networks, he announces that he will enter the primaries held by the DP and declares that he bases this initiative and personal courage on the contribution I have given to the Democratic Party of Albania for 23 years as a simple member of her, as a member of the National Council of PDSH in the years 2000-2005 as well as a candidate for deputy in the parliamentary elections of 2005 in the area of ​​Paskuqani.

We remind you that Asllan Dogjani has also announced his candidacy for the Municipality of Kamza, while the chairman of the DP in this area, Arian Hoxha, is also expected to compete.

Prençi was appointed Advisor to the President of the Republic of Albania in December 2019, while previously he held the position of General Director of Civil Emergencies.

Dear friends and well-wishers, I would like to share with you my initiative to participate in the primaries process within the Democratic Party as a candidate for mayor in the local elections of May 14, 2023 for the Municipality of Kamëz.
I guarantee the membership of the PD Kamëz branch, the Chairmanship of the Democratic Party Kamëz and the PDSH that I support this initiative and personal courage in the contribution I have given to the Democratic Party of Albania for 23 years as a simple member of it, as a member of the National Council of DPSH in the years 2000-2005 as well as a candidate for deputy in the parliamentary elections of 2005 in the area of ​​Paskuqani.

Also, I support this initiative in my experience as a leader of several electoral campaigns in the local government elections of 2000, the general elections of 2001, the partial elections of 2002 in Bulqiza, the local government elections in 2003, the elections of general year 2005.

I assure the DP membership, friends and well-wishers, vision, experience in management, professionalism, honesty and commitment to serve the community of Kamze Municipality.

My work experience throughout Albania, in very difficult tasks, has cultivated my communication skills with all layers of communities in all areas of Albania, especially with the layers in need. This will serve as my motivation to serve the community of Kamëz municipality, which is a heterogeneous community and a large part of it is in poverty, to influence the improvement of the life of this community.
