Blerina Abrazhda

Blerina Abrazhda was appointed today by decision of the Council of Ministers to the position of Deputy Minister of Defense.

She previously held the position of chairwoman to lead business development for Lockheed Martin in the Middle East, reporting directly to US General John W. Nicholson, Chief Executive Officer at Lockheed Martin Global Inc. for the Middle East.

Lockheed Martin is the American giant of arms and ammunition production for the military.

Decision:

In accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution and point 2, Article 6, of Law No. 9000, dated 30.1.2003, “On the Organization and Functioning of the Council of Ministers”, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

Ms. Blerina Abrazhda is appointed Deputy Minister of Defense.

This decision takes effect immediately.
