Despite the attempts of the Freedom Party to deny the news of a decision of the European Socialist Parties that excludes Ilir Meta from participating in the next PES Congress in Berlin, the news has been confirmed by the main leaders of PES.

Report Tv has communicated with the Deputy General Secretary of the European Socialist Parties, Giacomo Filibeck, who has confirmed the decision-making and its reasons.

"Ilir Meta sent an email and we consider it undesirable to participate in the Congress in Berlin. The reason for the rejection is the alliance signed with Sali Berisha. Ilir meta has always been invited to PES activities in the past. This is the first time we don't accept it", said Filibeck.
