Ervin Salianji wins the trial in Appeal against Evi Kokalari

Democratic MP Ervin Salianji has won the trial in the GJKKO Appeal against Evi Kokalari. The court acquitted Salianj of the charge of insult.

Everything between Salianj and Kokalari started during a television interview, where the democratic deputy described the activist who supported Sali Berisha as a schizophrenic.

According to Salianj, Kokalari's husband is involved in the Golden Dawn party, financed by anti-Albanian circles.

This has led Kokalari to file a lawsuit against Salianj and initially win the trial against him for defamation.

The Court against Corruption and Organized Crime sentenced Salianj to a fine of 50,000 lek, but the Appeal decided in his favor.
