SP and Alibeaj MPs send their reports to the Assembly, in favor of the arrest of
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha

The two reports compiled by the members of the Council of Mandates, who two days ago voted in favor of SPAK's request for the arrest of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, accused of passive corruption in connection with the privatization of the former Partizani complex, have been deposited in the Assembly.

One of the reports is from the majority, while the other report is from MP Enkelejt Alibeaj, who was the only representative of the opposition in the Council of Mandates.

Both reports require the granting of authorization to pave the way for SPAK's request for the removal of Sali Berisha's immunity.

The Parliament will vote in the plenary session tomorrow, where the removal of immunity will probably be decided, while in parallel Berisha has warned of large protests to oppose the decision.
