Berisha: Albanians will pay 500 million euros to settle the Vlora Airport contract

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku of breaking the Vlora International Airport concession contract, warning of serious financial consequences for the Albanian state.

"The Albanians, for the enrichment of Edi Rama and Lubi Balluku for their plunder of 130 million euros in missing tickets, are breaking a contract for which I guarantee the citizens of this country will be fined at least 500 million euros. They are breaking a contract only because they saw that Behgjet Pacolli has no intention of recognizing them for the shares that they claim the Turkish company has delivered to Pacolli."
