The former President of the Republic, Bamir Topi stated that he knows many people, both public and in his private life, who have cooperated with the State Security, but he cannot speak because of the position he held.

Topi says that these people behave in a strange way, as if they were not collaborators and nothing happened

According to him, the law on opening files was initiated for a specific person, IM citizen, who is suspected to be the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Metaj.

"Nothing new, it's a fable we've been hearing for 32 years. It is an obligation that the policy should have realized years ago. Now, it looks like this law is being passed specifically for one man. It is no longer a priority problem of the time. I have insisted that the files should be opened. Of course, the files in it will be asked to open, they will show it.

The person you see here has full information, because I have been in a position where I had the opportunity to have access, I know a lot of things, I cannot speak because I respect the position I had. I know very well, people I have in front of me, public people, people who have surrounded me in my private life, it is a very strange society. 94 MPs voted yesterday in favor of the law on the opening of files. Out of 140 deputies in the hall, only 95 participated in the vote, with one abstaining. 45 others refused to vote.
