Honorable friends!
Of course I'm shocked by SPAK's request for my ban. I have a deep conviction that an unbiased and just process would easily prove my innocence; With the unwavering conviction that I have never violated the laws of the country, nor have I ever broken the ethics of duty I have exercised!
However, there is no reason to engage the Assembly of the Republic of Albania on this issue, nor do I want to benefit or be offered a treatment unlike any other citizen of our country.
I have no shield of the mp's mandate, but the truth about my innocence. I'll try this in court and before public opinion.
That's why I decided tomorrow to present the Speaker of the Assembly with the handover of my term as deputy of the Republic of Albania, and face the charge without any privilege. As an ordinary citizen, as a responsible parent and family; And above all as a public servant, who undoubtedly understands that every commitment comes both at the price of political embalming or even with the obligation of clarifying the truth to justice!
