At the Job and Skills Fair in Durrës, 1500 vacancies are offered by 63 of the largest businesses in the region.
Also present at the fair was Prime Minister Edi Rama, who stressed the need for hotel sectors for workers.
Referring to the citizens who choose emigration to go to work, Rama said that just as high salaries are, so are expenses.
For the head of government, the average salaries in the country have increased by 8% and businesses also offer very competitive salaries.
'1,500 vacancies are offered by the 63 largest businesses in the region. Today we have an average salary increased by 8%. It is always an opportunity to make a choice between employment here in our country and leaving to look for work elsewhere. Things are not as they seem, either in one aspect or the other.
There are higher wages in emigration, but there are also higher costs. Today we have about 20 thousand students enrolled in vocational schools. We want to continue all together in this direction. I know that in the way of employment and in order to fulfill the ambition and the need to increase the salary, work is needed.
But I know that today it is enough for everyone to take a look at the hotel infrastructure in Durrës, to see that there is a feverish need for labor in all positions from basic level waiters to managers and to see that salaries are a reality quite different from the one that has been rumored for several years, according to which the salary in Albania is 30 thousand ALL. It's not like that. In Albania, salaries continue to rise. The market today is in great need of educated labor. It needs all sectors.'- said Rama.
