Albanian Marigona, the hottest phenomenon in Greece

Marigona, the young woman from Kosovo has become a phenomenon in Greece. The Greek media, "Protothema" has dedicated an article to her attitude, apparently not easy in the neighboring country. The young woman originally from Kosovo was living with her family in Germany, when she decided to move to Greece with her partner. Her partner deals with the sale of "luxury" watches, while the Albanian was dedicated to school. 

But returning to Greece has had its difficulties. On December 29, 2023, she was arrested during a random police check, as she did not have the necessary documents for her stay in Greece. The authorities decided to temporarily detain her until the end of her deportation process. But, due to the prolongation of this case, she was ordered to stay for a month and then voluntarily leave the country.

But instead of leaving Greece, Marigona chose to wage a legal battle to overturn her deportation proceedings. She stated that she has been living in Greece since 2018 and has worked occasionally as a babysitter and other times in catering services. She even mentioned the fact that Kosovo does not have consular authority in Greece, which makes it difficult to legalize its stay.

During the trial, the 24-year-old tried to explain that she did not imagine her life away from Greece.

"My friends are here, my work, my dreams. I don't know how I will start again," she said. But even to this day, she demands the right to stay in Greece.

The young woman became famous after she was caught by the cameras in the stadium watching the Olympiakos match. Her picture went viral on the net and everyone wanted to know who the beauty standing on the stand was. Then, it was revealed that Marigona has been in Greece for 7 years, studied nursing, doesn't miss a single Olympiakos game as her favorite player is Sasha Vezenkov.
