The world-famous singer, Ricky Martin, has received bad news, just 14 days before his long-awaited performance in Tirana.

As foreign media reports, the Puerto Rican singer and his Swedish-Syrian husband Jwan Yosef have separated.

Through a reaction on social networks, they say that they will take care of their children. Martin and Yosef have adopted 4-year-old daughter Lucia, 3-year-old son Ren. While Martin has two twins, Matteo and Valentino, whom he will raise alone.

In the announcement, they state that the decision was made in complete compromise and that they will continue to have "love and respect for each other".

"We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple during all these wonderful years," the announcement said, among other things.

We remind you that Ricky Martin will perform in Tirana on July 20. Earlier, for the first time in the Albanian capital, the famous Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias also organized a concert.
