These are the last moments of  Liam Payne 's life .

The pop star is seen in drag in the lobby of the Casa Sur hotel in Buenos Aires on October 16. 

He died moments later after falling from the balcony of his room, in circumstances that are still unclear.

The photo was published by  Daily Mail  and the British media asks the question: Could the singer have been saved?

The funeral of the 31-year-old, who was allegedly under the influence of drugs and alcohol when he fell from the balcony, took place on Wednesday at St Mary's Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.

The singer's body was returned to his homeland by his father, Geoff Payne, who went to Argentina immediately after the news of his son's death. / Daily Mail
