A popular model and her friend are missing at sea after the speedboat that was bringing them ashore from a luxury yacht party capsized off the coast of Sao Vicente in Brazil yesterday.
The police confirmed that Aline Tamara Moreira , 37 years old, and Beatriz Tavares da Silva Faria, 27 years old, were on the boat when the accident happened and that they are looking for the two missing girls.
A few minutes before the tragedy, Aline posted on the network images of herself on the luxury yacht, together with her friends.
Aline was seen wearing blue looking at the camera, along with two of her friends.
Her brother Anderson Carlos Moreira de Amorim confirmed that Aline does not know how to swim.
Survivors said the party on the yacht was at its peak when some girls and boys decided to leave, but the boat that came to take them tragically capsized, apparently due to rough seas, writes the Daily Mail network.
Four people, two girls and two boys, were rescued and given help.
They had injuries from the collision of the boat with the rocks that came as a result of the bad sea.
Nilce Aparecida Silva, local resident and cousin of the missing Beatriz, prayed on Facebook that the girl would be found alive.
"My daughter is my cousin and godmother, she adores the sea and we pray that she is found alive."
Survivor Camila Alves, 20, gave details of the incident on social networks.
"During the voyage, a big wave overturned our boat. We only had three life jackets, we grabbed them and were fighting for our lives. None of the girls knew how to swim."
She urged the public to pray that the girls would be found safe and sound.
The dangerous area where the accident happened is near the island of Porchat in Sao Vicente and attracts surfers from the big waves of the ocean, but hides the dangers of strong currents that appear periodically. / Daily Mail
