Drake, one of the most popular rappers in the world, donated $10,000 to a fan who won a sozish contest, organized by Casuals Cakery in his hometown of Toronto.
In the competition held on Saturday, fans competed by dressing up as the "God's Plan" rapper, bringing different styles from his iconic looks over the years.
Following news of the contest, the organizing pastry shop shared a message on Instagram indicating that Drake himself had contributed "10 bands" ($10,000) towards the grand prize.
"Yes, this is true and real! I hope Drake's doppelgängers are ready," Casuals Cakery wrote in its post.
Makayla Chambers, who shined with her “Girl Drake” look, took home the grand prize. She recreated Drake’s style with her hair pulled back into two ponytails, a fake beard, an oversized beige sweater, and black pants — inspired by a look the rapper wore earlier this year.
Many others also participated in the competition with different versions of Drake, such as “Ozempic Drake,” “Denim Drake,” and “Durag Drake,” as shown in a video shared by influencer Anthony Po.
Drake himself, 38, posted moments from the competition on social media, writing, "I love this city," along with laughing emojis.
