The video that took the internet by storm this weekend was of Parashqevi Simaku on the streets of New York City accepting social assistance. Although the sight was sad, Albanian citizens were delighted to see that she was somewhere and immediately started to help her.

In the program "Rudina", Rezarta Delisula says that among the journalists, there were indications that Simaku was in such a state, but it had been impossible to find her location. Journalist Olti Curri adds that she was standing in front of a famous coffee shop where she had memories with her son.

Rezarta Delisula: It was a shocking moment, but we had received preliminary information, we all knew in the ranks of journalists that Parashqevia was living outside, living on the streets. We had information, it was just that the place was unknown.
