An Albanian immigrant in the United States of America, Elvira Tata, met singer Parashqevi Simaku two days ago.
In an interview for Top Channel, she recounts the feelings of that meeting, how she met the Albanian music diva and what she said to her.
"I didn't know where he lived. I found him at a large train station. I saw him sitting, I asked him, are you Parashqevi Simanku? Who are you, let me tell you who I am, you have built an Albania. I had a warm spinach pie with me, I miss the pie, he said. He was listening to Jazz music," she says.
