Xi Jinping today in Paris, meets with Macron! Discussions about Ukraine!

This was Ukraine's third Orthodox Easter under bombs, while Russia did not stop the attacks. Six people, including a child, were injured in a drone attack in the eastern Kharkiv region, while 14 others were injured in an airstrike on Sunday afternoon in the city of Kharkiv.

Kiev's hopes are tied to the long-awaited US weapons to give new strength to the troops at the front and gain a more favorable position when peace can be negotiated.

The Peace Summit planned in Switzerland on June 15 and 16 will serve Zelensky to unite allies and form a common front against Moscow.

Xi Jinping's visit to Paris, the first stop on his European tour, is of particular interest. Today the President of China meets with Emmanuel Macron and the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. This is the Chinese leader's first visit to Europe since 2019. During the European tour, he will also visit Serbia and Hungary.

The French leader is expected to hold talks with Xi Jinping on a range of issues, from Ukraine to trade.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov attacks: the conference on Ukraine in Switzerland is useless "without the participation of Russia.
