Deputy Minister for Return and Communities in the Kosovo Government, Radoica Radomirovic, says nenad Rasic party member Marko Jablanovic in Leposavic was attempted to kill. According to him, the attacker failed his weapon.
The case was confirmed by the deputy director of the Kosovo Police in the north, Veton Elshani, saying that investigations are underway.
"After midnight today, an attempted murder case is suspected in Soqanica, Leposavic Municipality. No injuries or arrests. The police are investigating the case," Elshani told Time.
Deputy Minister Radomirovic added that Milan Radoicic, known as the leader of the Banjska attack, is involved in the case.
"The tragic event did not occur after the attackers failed the Scorpion-type weapon. There is no doubt that the Belgrade regime and Radočić and the local cowboys, Slavko Sidic and Zoran Todic... It is widely known that Marko and I supported Aleksandar Jabllanovic to bring the necessary changes to Leposavic.
After Jabllanovic agreed in Belgrade with Aleksandar Vulini, Vucic and BIA member Dimic, to withdraw for a bit of money and privileges as a candidate for mayor of the Municipality of Leposavic, Marko and Navili tried to regain the necessary dignity and take their lives in their hands," he added.
Deputy Minister for Return added that he and Jablanovic were threatened with murder because they "are working for the interests of the regime". Radodirovic wrote that the threats will not stop them.
