Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i? has dismissed Serbia's ambassador to Zagreb, Jelena Mili?, according to a decision published this Tuesday in the Official Gazette of Serbia.
No specific reason has yet been given for the dismissal, but the development comes at a time of escalating tensions between Serbia and Croatia, following the defense cooperation agreement signed on March 18 in Tirana between Albania, Kosovo, and Croatia.
Vu?i? has also appointed Dragan Šutanovac as the new ambassador to the US.
Also, by the decree of the President of the Republic, signed on March 20, Ivo Vojvodi? was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia to Slovenia, Milan Ravi? to Bulgaria and Davor Trkulja to Ethiopia. These decrees enter into force the day after their publication in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia".
