The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren has filed an indictment against the current Minister of Regional Development of Kosovo, Fikrim Damka, and another person, as they are suspected of the criminal offenses of "Assault" and "Threat".
The prosecutorial system announced the news through a press release, which states that this entire situation arose due to a dispute regarding the publication of some information and news on social networks.
He was arrested in February of this year along with his son for assaulting and threatening a woman.
Damka is the chairman of the Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo, which ran in the parliamentary elections. He is suspected of attacking a candidate from the Turkish Innovative Movement Party.
"For the party "KDTP" and for the party leader-defendant FD (1972), while the injured parties were standing in the neighborhood park with several other members of their party "YTHP", for a moment the defendant entered the park and quickly approached the injured party, and addressed her with threatening words."
"Then with both hands he grabbed the injured party by the shoulders and pushed her, whereupon the bystanders intervened and removed her from the park, then the defendant addressed the injured party MJ, with threatening words and immediately attacked her, hitting the injured party's body with his body and pushing the injured party's head with his head, causing the injured party physical pain. With these actions, the same person committed the criminal offense of "Assault" according to the Criminal Code of Criminal Procedure," the indictment states.
