The woman who was murdered, Nexhmije Haradini, with her husband

Nexhmije Haradini was killed today in Stanoc, Vushtrri, Kosovo by a 58-year-old man, who then committed suicide.

As announced by the Kosovo Police, from initial investigations, it is suspected that the perpetrator Arsim Morina shot the mother of 3 children to death and then shot himself.

The Basic Prosecution Office of Mitrovica announced that witnesses are being interviewed and in coordination with the police, all the circumstances that led to this serious incident are being investigated. Relatives of the victim also reacted to the incident.

Rrahim Ajeti announced that the victim and her husband had previously worked with the murder suspect, and that the murder is suspected to have occurred due to jealousy over a change of job. He emphasized that the deceased had been an exemplary woman.

"I am a relative of the deceased, I want to inform you that as the information is circulating, they are not husband and wife, a while ago she was their employee along with her husband, but the circumstances of how she came to the murder are not known even to us as a family. She was an exemplary woman. You left the jealousy about why you went to another place to work to me," he said.

The son of the deceased also reacted through a post on the social network Facebook. He published a photo with his mother and wrote: "Inshallah in hell, I am a mother."
