The court of Arezzo in Italy has released 53-year-old Sandro Mugnai, who executed his Albanian neighbor Gëzim Dodoli, on the evening of January 5.

The incident happened while the 59-year-old Albanian was working with an excavator, demolishing the house where Mugnai was with his family and relatives.

 Italian media reports that the investigating judge assessed that there is no risk of escape, repetition of the crime or risk of tampering with the evidence and did not order a security measure against the 53-year-old Italian.

According to what is learned, the defense lawyers, Marzia Lelli and Piero Melani Graverini, focused on the need to exercise legitimate defense, an issue which will then be addressed again in the continuation of the proceedings.

Meanwhile, the author who shot 5 times at the Albanian argued before the judge that he would protect his family who were in danger for their lives from the immediate and possible collapse of the roof of the house, which was attacked with the blows of the excavator driven by Dodoli.
