Another incident for Boeing, after a United Airlines plane lost a wheel during takeoff from Los Angeles airport. It is about the Boeing 757 that, despite the incident, managed to land safely in Denver.
The plane involved in Monday's incident was a Boeing 757-200 that was built about three decades ago, according to FlightRadar24, and was carrying 174 passengers and 7 crew members.
Boeing has stopped production of the 757 since 2004.
Last March, a United Airlines Boeing 777-200 bound for Japan lost a wheel mid-air after taking off from San Francisco and the pilot made a safe emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport.
Yesterday's incident was the latest in a series of incidents involving United Airlines planes.
A plane made an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport in March due to a technical problem.
