Giorgia Meloni and the figures she chose to build the Center Right cabinet that will govern Italy in the next 4 years were sworn in today at the Quirinale in front of President Sergio Mattarella.
Everyone was smiling and did not hide their enthusiasm for taking office, but it was the head of the "Lega Nord", Matteo Salvini, who grabbed the attention with a "funny" incident while signing the oath.
He was signing in front of Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to take over as vice president of the new government and minister of infrastructure when he dropped the pencil and it started spinning.
In Italy such a twist of the pencil is considered lucky, so Meloni enjoyed and laughed at the episode.
Meanwhile, Matteo Salvini was dressed in style and went to the Cardinal Palace accompanied by his partner Francesca and their two children.
