Shocking/ The police empty 100 bullets in 41 seconds, the 26-year-old dies in

The footage you see shows a chaotic scene, where during a police check in Chicago, USA, police officers shot nearly 100 times in 41 seconds after stopping a young man's vehicle. It was the camera of one of the policemen who filmed everything, while the young man passed away.

The video was recorded on March 21, while 26-year-old Dexter Reed refused to get out of the vehicle after it was determined that he was not wearing a seat belt.

Suddenly, and while a total of five police officers are around the car with guns drawn, a shot is heard, followed by a volley of bullets from the officers. According to the investigations that followed, the police fired a total of 96 times in 41 seconds.

According to a statement from the Office of Civilian Police Accountability, initial evidence indicates that Reed opened fire first and four officers responded to the attack "even after Reed was out of the vehicle and on the ground."

However, as the New York Post points out, in the videos released to the public there is no clear image of the 26-year-old who fired at the police. But it is said that a gun was found in his car.

The 26-year-old's family is calling for a further investigation into what happened and led to his death, arguing the shooting was illegal as the officers were not in uniform and did not identify themselves.
