At least 143 people have been killed and more than 100 wounded after gunmen opened fire on Friday at a rock concert at Crocus City Hall in a suburb of Moscow, Russian intelligence said.
A large fire broke out in the building, causing part of the roof near the theater to collapse, but is now said to be largely extinguished.
The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack and said those responsible escaped.
The United States says there is no reason to doubt the claim, adding that it had warned Russia of a possible attack on "large gatherings" in Moscow earlier this month.
Ukraine has denied any involvement with this serious event. After the incident, security in Russia has been strengthened while the national guard has been put on alert.
In the images published in the media and social networks, you can see the moment when 6,200 attendees who were attending a concert of a rock music group, are alarmed by gunshots and try to leave to save their lives.
The hall burst into flames after the perpetrators, who are thought to have been 3 or 5 people, also threw grants.
