Tensions in the region, Qatar closes airspace

Qatar announces that it has temporarily closed its airspace as part of measures taken due to developments in the region, a statement from the Qatari Foreign Ministry on the social network "X" said.

The ministry said this action comes to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.

The closure of Qatar's airspace comes as Iran repeated previous threats to retaliate against the United States following attacks on its nuclear plants.

It is also reported that Turkey has canceled all flights to the United Arab Emirates just moments after the announcement issued by Qatar.
