Trump thanks God that he escaped the assassination

Thanking all those who prayed for his health, Donald Trump has a second reaction after the serious event where a 20-year-old man tried to kill him.

"Only God prevented the unthinkable. We will not be afraid, on the contrary, we will be steadfast in our faith in the face of evil", he wrote in "Truth Social".

According to the presidential candidate, this is the moment "to unite".

"We pray for the recovery of those who were injured and we keep in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was killed in a terrible way. I love our country, I love you all, and I'm looking forward to addressing my nation this week from Wisconsin," Trump concluded.
