Trump reacts after the assassination: I will never surrender!

Donald Trump has reacted for the first time after the assassination attempt on him on Saturday while he was giving a speech at an electoral rally in Pennsylvania.

CNN reports that Trump sent an e-mail message to his supporters that read: "This is a message from Donald Trump. I will never give up!"

The e-mail also carried a portrait of himself and his signature.

Trump was escorted from the podium by Secret Service agents after gunshots rang out.

He was seen bleeding from the ear and face, but is reportedly in good condition.

One person from the public was killed and two others are in serious condition, while the assassin was executed by the Secret Service.
