The tragic event in Greece, the last phone call of the 36-year-old before she was shot to death by her ex-husband!

"I am Areti, he has a gun, he will kill me", these were the last words said to the police by the 36-year-old woman who was killed by her ex-husband this morning in Greece .

Greek media reports that it was the woman herself who called the police after her ex-husband followed her and threatened to kill her, and not the neighbors.

"The victim called the relevant Police Department denouncing a threat to her life from her ex-husband, while the call ended without providing contact information and residence, only her name," the announcement to the Greek police states, adding that "immediately , a patrol car crew went to her residence while at the same time making repeated phone calls to get further information and instructions, but no one answered."

But even though the 36-year-old tried to avoid the crime, she failed to escape, as the police arrived at the scene when she and her ex-husband were already killed.

"Within a few minutes, the officers arrived at the scene, where they found the victim and her husband mortally wounded. At the same time, from the data of the calls of the Police Directorate, there is no call from the family members and friends of the victim to the relevant Police Directorate or Immediate Action, to report the incident", the Greek police announced.

The 43-year-old man took the rifle and went in the middle of the night to the apartment where his ex-wife lived with their 13-year-old daughter. While the son of the former couple was at his paternal grandparents' house.

The 43-year-old, who was carrying a hunting rifle, shouted and threatened his ex-wife that if she returned home immediately he would kill their daughter.

"Come on, or I'll kill you," he said.

The frightened child had sent a message to a neighbor and she managed to get him out of the house, locking the perpetrator inside.

He continued on a frenzy of threats until the 36-year-old drove home. Then, the 43-year-old man, who could not get out of the closed house, jumped from the balcony onto the hood of the car and shot his ex-wife without thinking from the windshield of the vehicle. After killing his ex-wife, the 43-year-old also shot himself.
