War breaks out, Iran attacks the United Arab Emirates with missiles

The United Arab Emirates announced that Iran launched four missiles towards their territory.

"Three of the missiles were intercepted over territorial waters and a fourth fell into the sea," the Ministry of Defense announced.

Earlier in the day, thousands of citizens in Dubai received an urgent security alert on their mobile phones.

The message, sent in English and Arabic, warned that "due to the current situation, there is a possibility of missile threats" and urged citizens to immediately seek shelter in the nearest safe building.

The notice also recommended that residents stay away from windows, doors, and open spaces, and await further instructions from the competent authorities.

The alarm bore the signature of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Interior.
