Mark Rutte: European countries got the message from Trump about military bases!

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that European countries have reacted to US President Donald Trump's stances and are ensuring the implementation of agreements on the use of military bases.

Speaking to reporters during a summit of the European Political Community in Armenia, Rutte acknowledged that there had been dissatisfaction on the part of the United States regarding the contribution of some allied countries.

"Yes, there was some disappointment on the American side, but the Europeans got the message," he said.

Earlier, Trump had accused some NATO countries of not doing enough to support the US in the conflict with Iran, increasing pressure on allies for greater military and logistical commitment.
