A rare phenomenon that hasn't happened since Thomas Jefferson was president of the USA will happen on the North American continent.
It's not a comet or the next solar eclipse, instead, scientists say that the earth will be invaded by the appearance of trillions of ginseng. Two species of flying insects, named XIII and XIX, will invade the East Coast and Midwest in the coming weeks, an event that hasn't happened since 1803.
The appearance of such a large number of ginkallas is not expected to occur again until the year 2245.
"I've actually been looking forward to this for years at this point," Dr. Katie Dana, an entomologist and weevil expert from Illinois, told The Independent. "I've been trying to get the word out, people haven't heard until this year." ", she added.
Chimps, best known for their loud "singing" or chirping, spend most of their lives underground.
In the US, there are 15 "periodic" broods of the grouse, three occurring in 13-year cycles and the rest every 17 years. This means that there is usually only one type of gland at a time.
Scientists say up to 1 trillion ginsengs are expected to appear in the US in the coming weeks.
