The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, says that the Serbian forces who kidnapped 3 Kosovo policemen a day ago at the border, have deliberately left traces at the scene.

Speaking in the Assembly of Kosovo, Kurti said that in the meeting he had today with the foreign ambassadors, he expressed his protest for KFOR's non-reaction, but at the same time asked to take measures.

"I also had telephone conversations last night with the American special emissary Gabriel Escobar, with the American ambassador and in this meeting I am coming from a joint meeting with all the ambassadors, deputy ambassadors, heads of missions and other diplomats accredited to the Republic of Kosovo, where we have explained to them at length, informing them about yesterday and today, and now that it has been 30 hours since the kidnapping of 3 policemen and we still do not have the official explanatory statement from KFOR, who was at the scene, I I have also expressed my protest for this silence, but also the request for an urgent response.

At the scene of the incident, traces of shoes and boots heading towards Serbia, cars without license plates and especially plastic handcuffs of the Serbian forces were found. They not only carried out the kidnapping, but at the same time they wanted to publicly leave traces of this kidnapping. It is about aggression with arrogance. They have not tried to hide the traces of the crime. On the contrary, their aim was to make it known that they were there at that time", said Albin Kurti.

Under these conditions, accusing Serbia of trespassing on the territory of Kosovo, Kurti says that this is an aggression not only against the country, but also against NATO.

"I visited the families of 2 of the 3 kidnapped policemen. I saw the anxiety, but also their endurance and support for the institutions of Kosovo, these 3 policemen, 2 of them also had health problems, they were not there as Serbia presents them, a superior member of the elite units of Kosovo, it is not true. Now when the international factors have started to mobilize, this is a kind of proof that they were in the territory of Kosovo. That if they were armed deep in the territory of Serbia, then no one would talk about their release and we would be at odds with our members. This is aggression against our country, but also aggression from NATO", emphasized Kurti.

In the end, he said that Kosovo will not respond to these actions of Serbia with revenge, but "with order and law".
