The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has blamed KFOR for the kidnapping of 3 policemen from Serbia.

In a statement from the floor of the Assembly, the head of the government of Kosovo emphasized that he is waiting for KFOR to take responsibility and order Serbia to release the 3 officers.

" We are waiting to see the behavior of Serbia and the international reaction. The protection of the border line is the joint responsibility of the Kosovo police and KFOR.

In cases where the aggression is on a military scale, the responsibility of border protection should be KFOR's because of the mandate of NATO and the responsibility it has taken in agreeing the agreement with Thaçi.

We are waiting for KFOR to take responsibility for exercising the protective function and to order Serbia to return the kidnapped policemen to Kosovo.

Point 4 of the Kumanovo agreement was violated yesterday. KFOR should not have remained silent in the face of the hijacking attack ," Kurti said in parliament.
