The financial police of Brescia in Italy have seized 141 million euros between movable and immovable assets of entrepreneur Lanfranco Cirillo, 63, known as the architect of Vladimir Putin and 44 other Russian oligarchs. He is accused of tax and fiscal crimes. Among the assets seized are luxury homes, bank accounts, hard cash, jewelry, modern and contemporary art by famous authors, and even a helicopter.
Lanfranco Cirillo worked and lived in Russia for 20 years, where he became known and began to offer his services to the most important oligarchs up to President Vladimir Putin. He is accused of smuggling and false declaration, money laundering, self-cleaning and transactions.
An investigation carried out by the Brescia Economic-Financial Police Unit was opened after the identification, in the Brescia area, of a helicopter registered in Russia for which customs formalities had not been fulfilled and which led to the discovery of an alleged case of fictitious stay abroad.
The architect Lanfranco Cirillo is under investigation after he did not declare income for tens of millions of euros for the years 2013-2019 (for 50 million euros), while maintaining in Italy the center of his family, assets and economic interests. From the income declared by the investigators, an unjustified hereditary ability was also found, which led today to the seizure of the amount of 141 million euros.
