Greece itself, which complained about the arrest of Fredi Beller for buying votes, does not condone this phenomenon. 

An elderly woman was arrested in Greece during the election process on Sunday, after allegedly throwing two envelopes into the ballot box.

The event took place in electoral unit 426, in the area of ​​Agjia Sofia in Patra. According to Greek media reports, a relative of hers had given her a completed ballot. 

However, the woman was confused and threw into the ballot box the envelope with the prepared paper, as well as the envelope she had taken to the polling station to vote.

Upon learning, the judicial representative called the police for the criminal offense of changing the election result.

The elderly woman was arrested and taken to the First Police Station where she explained exactly what had happened and was then released.
