Tragic view from Greece / Fires surround the Monastery but the nuns refuse to

Greece is dealing with large outbreaks of fire that have reportedly engulfed several residential neighborhoods.

Recently, a large fire broke out today in Mandra, while the evacuation alert was given to residents in Nea Zoi, Agia Sotira, Palaiochori, Panorama and Pournaria.

In Nea Zoi, it is reported that several apartments were engulfed in flames and completely burned. A large number of firefighters have been deployed from the ground and air, but the large number of fires and new outbreaks appear to be making it impossible to fight the flames.

In Mandra, flames engulfed the hill where a Monastery is located. Greek police have been filmed trying to convince the nuns to evacuate, but the latter seem to have refused. They went outside and started singing church songs, praying to God.

So, a large number of citizens have sought help in hospitals, due to difficulty in breathing, due to the dense smoke that has invaded the areas.
