The peace announced by Trump does not last long, Pakistan-India ceasefire is violated

Pakistan violated a ceasefire agreed earlier on Saturday with India, after four days of confrontation on the border between the two countries, an Indian government source told AFP.

A series of powerful explosions were heard early Saturday evening in Srinagar, the largest city in Indian Kashmir, causing power outages.

The Chief Minister of Indian Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, confirmed the incident, saying "What the hell happened to the ceasefire? Explosions are heard all over Srinagar," he wrote in a post on the X platform.

Neither country has officially commented on the reports.

Deliberate power outages in the wider region have been frequent in recent days, Western media report.
