After the confusion created by Donald Trump with his proposal to rebuild the Gaza Strip, flattened by the Israeli war, by removing Palestinian residents from there, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is throwing out the idea of ??their permanent relocation to Saudi Arabia.

"The Saudis could create a Palestinian state inside Saudi Arabia. They have plenty of space there."

In an interview with Israeli television during a visit to Washington, Netanyahu dashed any hope that he would accept that Israelis and Palestinians would live in two states adjacent to each other.

“A Palestinian state after October 7? You know what that means? There was a Palestinian state called Gaza under Hamas rule and you see the consequences.”

Saudi Arabia refuses to establish diplomatic relations with Israel unless it allows the creation of a Palestinian state, despite the fact that in this interview Netanyahu expressed his belief that official Riyadh will accept the exchange of ambassadors.

Netanyahu supported Donald Trump's proposal, widely opposed by the international community, to relocate residents of the Gaza Strip for the purpose of reconstruction, although the White House chief has not clarified whether his plan includes their return after the completion of this process.

Only US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has confirmed the return of Gaza residents.
