"Don't worry, we don't need it" - Donald Trump is not angry

The American president, at a cabinet meeting at the White House, repeated his criticism of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer.

He said the UK offered help “three weeks ago when the war was already over.” “I said, 'Oh, that's wonderful. Thank you very much. Don't worry, we don't need it,'” he added wryly.

Trump then said that the UK's planes "are not the best... they are toys compared to what we have."

Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, the president said that if the US and Iran can make "the right deal," the shipping channel will open.

Previously, the United Kingdom has approved the use of its bases by the US to launch attacks on Iranian sites targeting the Strait of Hormuz.

The United Kingdom said it would not be directly involved in the strikes and that "the principles behind the UK's approach to the conflict remain the same," according to Downing Street.
