The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has made an official visit to Paris at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron.

During the joint conference at the Elysee Palace, Macron gave a speech with messages for Serbia and Kosovo.

The French president emphasized that "the issue of Kosovo is a promise and a pledge for the future of the region" and that everything is included in the agreement "signed a year ago".

"France will make sure that every step of that agreement is fulfilled," Macron said.

He also stated that: "It is necessary that the participants in the attacks in Banjska bear responsibility and such a drama is not repeated."

"I also want Prishtina to respect its commitments, as well as for the elections to be respected with full democratic legitimacy, especially in municipalities with predominantly Serbian majorities," said the French president.
