The judge in the city of Lecce, Italy, Maria Francesca Mariano, has reported to the police that on the night between Thursday and Friday, the bloody head of a goat pierced with a knife was left in front of her house.

As Italian media reports, the judge was under protection after receiving several threatening letters months ago.

"The intimidation of the judge is believed to be related to the investigations that led to the anti-mafia operation in which 22 people from the 'Lamendola-Cantanna' clan believed to be part of the 'Scu' were arrested on July 17," he said. said the prosecutor of the case, Carmen Ruggiero.
