Israeli and American officials are reportedly looking at Morocco as well as two autonomous regions of Somalia as possible destinations for the relocation of Gaza residents under US President Donald Trump's proposed plan to relocate Gazans from the war-torn enclave.

Two reports in recent days have mentioned three possible destinations.

Israeli television Channel 12 reported that Morocco, Puntland and Somaliland were being considered by the White House.
